Tulip – MOPP Film Foamed – R is made from polypropylene. The natural density of polypropylene is further reduced by foaming and processing. The film/tape is economical, light and highly processable and compatible with all kinds of cable materials. The normal low density of polypropylene is further reduced by foaming and processing and results in savings as compared to other plastic films. Moreover, the film has high tensile strength and low elongation, allowing it to run at faster speeds during cable making. The film has good clinging properties and does not slip during processing.
MOPP Film Foamed – R is used as a binder/roller twister tape. It allows tight winding and thereby firmly holds the cable core. It gives savings on post-operation.
Available in 130, 150 & 200 micron thickness, with a maximum width of 50 mm and a minimum width of 20 mm.
