Tulip – MOPP Film Compact – HS is engineered along with special additive blends for high-speed machine applications and specific use in the cable industry for replacing polyester films/tapes. It is designed to help in forming a more compact laying of the cable core. It distinguishes itself by exceptional high tensile strength and low elongation, coupled with engineered properties to support different applications in communication and power cable sectors. It has very low water and moisture permeability. It is very flexible (unlike polyester), offering more pliability and conformability. It also requires less winding force and offers excellent dielectric strength. It is an ideal choice to insulate the cable core from the metallic screen. The film/tape is highly processable and compatible to all kinds of cable materials. The normal low density of polypropylene is much lower as compared to conventional polyester tape. The film is soft and has a good clinging property.

MOPP Film Compact – HS is used as a replacement for polyester tape. It meets all the requirements as a reinforcement helix, an insulating division film, or as a practical processing aid. The film in general is soft and has a good clinging property to give complete covering to the cable core. The exceptional strength in the machine direction makes it a preferred film for high-speed machines and rounding and compacting of the cable core. It gives savings on post-operation.

Available in 36, 40, 50, 60, 75 & 100 micron thickness, with a maximum width of 100 mm and a minimum width of 30 mm.
