Tulip – MOPP Film Foamed – Drum Wrap is made from polypropylene, and the natural density of polypropylene is further reduced by foaming and partial orientation. It has been specially formulated to give very good abrasion resistance properties. It is used in the cable industry as drum wrap film and is applied on the base and side walls of the drum before the cable is wound on the drum. It gives complete protection to the cable core in terms of abrasion which is caused on the cable core by coming in contact with drum material. It has superior strength and tear resistance in the cross direction and also provides a good cushioning effect. The texture on the film is specifically created to stop slippage while wrapping and enhance clinging and abrasion resistance properties.

MOPP Drum Wrap is used as a drum wrap and is highly economical due to reduced density by foaming and processing. It prevents abrasion on the cable core during transit and gives complete protection. It does not snap due to superior tear resistance in the cross direction.

Available in 350 & up to 1000 micron thickness, with a maximum width of 650 mm.
